Illinois Express/Team Rory Wins its 5th Straight Championship!

Mitch Ruchim, whose son is on an elite 16 and under baseball team, wanted to organize a fundraiser through this baseball team's summer tournament schedule. He was able to get enthusiastic support from the coaches and parents of the team members, and they named the the team “Illinois Express/Team Rory”. He began soliciting sponsors for the number of wins, home runs etc. The team has raised $750 per win and they have won 32 games so far! They have won five straight tournaments in three different states! They have become nationally recognized and will compete in national tournaments in Atlanta and later in the summer in Las Vegas. The kids are from several different area high schools and communities, and are all aware of Rory and understand that they are playing for a higher purpose.
